about

lyrics

I remember when she stepped out of the car
Girl only seventeen, looking like a star
Baggy pants and Vans, couldn´t look away
Fell in love with her though I knew I couldn´t stay

Chorus
And she´s my punk rock girl
Baby she´s my punk rock girl
Punk rock girl
Baby she´s my punk rock girl

Getting in a cab, waiting to get home
Put my arm around her, I picture us alone
This city is so big, the lights will make me blind
But there´s only one thing I care about tonight

But I had to go away (Had to go away)
I just had to go away (Had to go away)
I´d do anything to stay (Anything to stay)
I just had to go away
